Excel / JSON Converter

The conversion you reach for when seeding test data, wiring up an API or preparing a bulk import. Upload an Excel or CSV file to get JSON, or simply paste tab-separated text copied from a spreadsheet. Going the other way, a JSON array exports to Excel or CSV, with a preview table to confirm the structure.

FAQ

Is the header row used for JSON keys?

Yes. The first row is treated as the header and becomes the object keys, while every following row becomes one object in the array.

Can I paste content copied straight from Excel?

Yes. Copy a range in Excel or WPS and paste it into the text box — columns are split on tab characters automatically.

Are multiple worksheets supported?

The first worksheet in the file is read by default. To convert another sheet, save it as a separate file first.
